We license the Bible texts we offer from the publishers, who own the copyright for each of the Bible translations. This means that we are only able to display those translations for which we have permission. Some publishers prefer that we do not include their Bible translation in the Bible Gateway app, even though they feel comfortable licensing it to us for use on our website.
