Bible Gateway is honored to work with many gracious Bible publishers to distribute the Bible for free in numerous languages and translations. We license the Bible texts from the publishers, who own the copyrights for each of the Bible translations. We only display those translations for which we have permission. Some publishers prefer that we do not include their Bible translation in the Bible Gateway app, even though they feel comfortable licensing it to us for use on the website. If there is a specific translation you are missing and would like to see in the app, let us know, and we will attempt to license it from the publisher for the app. Send an e-mail to support@biblegateway.com.
